Each year, the a new iteration of Apple's iOS for mobile devices
including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch generates a massive buzz in
the tech-savvy community. iOS 5 is the latest version, and Apple has
recently revealed a few very exciting additions to its software.
As the Apple App Store continues to grow and users put more
notification-enabled applications on their devices, they might find
themselves overwhelmed by updates and messages from each app. In Apple
iOS 5, this problem is solved with the introduction of a new
"notification center," where all app notifications are grouped in one
easily accessible place.
Another new native application named iMessage has also been developed
for Apple's latest iOS. It's designed to allow Apple device users to
communicate with one another in a system similar to text messaging for
free. iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users with iOS 5 will all be able to
use the free service.

Speculation on future iPhone models begins shortly after Apple releases a new handset, and having had the iPhone 4 since June 2010, iPhone 5 rumors, clues, and supposed sightings are in their prime. The Wall Street Journal was one of the first trusted sources to report about the possible physical design of the new iPhone, confirming an edge-to-edge glass screen. They also claimed that this sleek, all-screen look would make it’s way to a smaller, “Nano” addition to the iPhone family, and at half the price of the full scale model. Apple is also rumored to be thinning the iPhone 5 by means of a tapered design, which sees the phone body unbelievably thin, but with a graduated thickness toward the top of the device. Equipped with the recently announced new OS, iOS 5, and an expected speedy new processing power, the next generation iPhone is said to be with us as soon as September.
The image above shows a basic concept of what Apple may have cooking.
